The Faculty of Medicine, Federal University of Alagoas, aiming to curricular reform of the course of medicine, has proposed inserting the student health service since the start of graduation, so that the same practice of health promotion activities, acting directly in the health-disease process. To understand this process the student must know all the steps of the operation of the Family Health Program (PSF) involving actions in basic health unit, in homes, in schools and in the groups of that community. A team of twenty students health promotion activities held in the community João Sampaio, in the neighborhood of Tabuleiro, Maceió, Alagoas. Each student was responsible for visiting forty dwellings, in which conducted interviews, met chips with family health information and measurement of blood pressure of the members of the same, in search of health problems of the population. Coupled with this activity, the Group also promoted education campaigns, through lectures on health, in schools and in the community, promoting sex education, information on teenage pregnancy, pregnant, breastfeeding, guidelines on tooth brushing and grooming. There is no doubt the importance of the construction of this work by the Federal University of Alagoas, through the Faculty of Medicine, as well as the direct actions of the students of the course curriculum of the new era; although the curriculum is still in transition and adaptation and therefore liable to faults, which must be corrected for improvement of the project. It is undisputed that the application of theoretical knowledge of collective health to life practice makes the study more accurate and gives the College a differential in the learning of their students.

Learning Objectives: The direct actions of the students of the course curriculum of the new era; although the curriculum is still in transition and adaptation and therefore liable to faults, which must be corrected for improvement of the project.
