Hand washing and hygiene

The session will launch a toolkit of materials that help train healthcare workers and teachers on how to build awareness and understanding of Hand Washing with Soap and how to motivate sustained behavior of hand washing to school aged children and caregivers of children under 5 years old. Dr. Val Curtis, Director, The Hygiene Center, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine will present a summary of the importance of hand washing with soap to achieve Millennium Development Goal on Hand washing with soap and also present the toolkit.
