Starting with the description of Acheson Report “The application of pharmaceutical knowledge, skills and resources to the science and art of preventing disease, prolonging life, promoting, protecting and improving health for all through organised efforts of society” the role of pharmaceuticals and especially the pharmacists’ will be discussed.
