35.12 Health at school: Conceptions of health of professors of basic education Fortaleza-Ce

The health concept was extended and the actions of health promotion had left of being exclusiveness of the sector health. They should also be performed by other actors. At school, for example, the actions of health must rely on the support of the professors. Objective: To describe the health´s conceptions the professors of basic education one at Fortaleza city. Methodology: One is about a descriptive study, transversal of quantitative nature. Date were collected throught questionnaires to 257 professors. The questions were analyzed in SPSS – 13.0. Results: 80,2% said that health is complex state welfare physicist, mental; almost half of the participants, 43,6%, had affirmed to be important the work of the school how much the health for the promotion of the citizenship and quality of life; more than half the professors, 64,2% studied on the subject health during it´s formation; 41,2% consider satisfactory the quality information acquired, on the other hand, 65% declare weren´t feel itself prepared to work the subject at school. 80,9% know the PCN´s and 76,7% know that health and one of the transversal subjects. The reason alleged by professors for the unpreparedness to work the subject health must it lack of knowledge, 29,6%, or the lack of didactic material, 28,8%. More than half, 54,5%, find difficulty to work the subject healf at school and the reason alleged for the interviewed ones was the specific qualifications, 33,1%. Conclusion: The professors of the Fortaleza city knew the health concept extended, the PCN of health, more still feel themselves unprepared to work with the subject in the school. Our study he points the urgent necessity of qualification of professors to act with promotors of the health at school and the development of the professors in the actions of education in health at school.
