By having reviewed health public programs it comes that today we plan according to corporate issues rather than academic ones, therefore, the university education in the Argentine Republic is under review. We are living a historical period of deep changes: society travels faster than its own structures, and the university is left behind such events. Higher education is guided to achieve academic degrees and it is based on rigid educational plans which have a little view on collective health prospect. In the meantime, the graduate required is one educated under a flexible curriculum, capable of solving community issues. This study mainly aims to assess the possibility of turning the curricular contents into the collective health, reversing a persistent individualistic current. The challenge consists of creating a stable relationship between higher education and society, within a sanitary system which increases the citizens´ quality of life. We understand the quality of life as being healthy enough to face the adversity and the daily conflicts, actively going along the XXI Century for the emergence of a new society. We conclude that settings for testing prospective models linked to the collective health may be placed.
