The implementation of Brazilian Single Health System, several strategies were used to overcome the problems. Highlights the Family Health Program, whose principles are: proximity of patient, centrality in family, multidisciplinary work. Issues of lack of training and preparation of professionals is present regard to the treatment in Public Health. The aim to investigate to which the pedagogical model from university influenced in the training of nurse, doctor and dentist for Amazon context in Public Health, how agent for health promotion. Were investigated the courses of a Federal University of the Amazonia (Brazil) used focusgroup and individual held up semi-structured with universitaires from last period of each course. The results indicate profissional formation in Nursing, Medicine and Dentist was fragmentary and specialized, contrary to principles of Family Health Program. There is need for reorientation of the teaching models of the courses studied, to training for nurses, doctors and dentists with orientation for Public Health practice, health promotion in the historical-political thinking and critical reflection.
