AIMS METHODS RESULTS CONCLUSION
The study was done to determine the questions about sexuality that university students want to know but could not ask and so done to contribute to content of sexual education.
This study was done between the dates 22.02.08/05.05.08 with 122 students who take sexual education lesson in a university. These students have taken sexual education lesson for 42 hours. We want students to write questions they wonder but could not ask about sexuality on a paper without writing their names and then they put their papers in a close box in the classroom. The next lesson, these questions were read aloud and answered. The application continues until taking no more new question. This application has been continued for 11 weeks and 3 hours in a week. The descriptive statistics were used to for data analyze.
47 % of students join in the study are female and 53% of them are male. During the study 89 questions were taken from students. 56% of the questions were about sexual behavior such as coitus, orgasm, masturbation, 13 % was about physiology, 7% was about AIDS/STD, 5% was about hymen, 5% was about birth control, 3% was about sexual orientation, 3% was about other subjects. There are remarkable examples in all questions. For example “I ejaculated on my girl friend’s eyes. Does she become blind?” “Is it true that the females enjoy more 9 times than males in during coitus?” “Does she become pregnant if she swallows sperms?” “Girls pleasure with clitoral stimulation. Therefore is there any other importance of coitus except reproduction?”
The questions that students wonder but could not ask are mostly about sexual intercourse. The sexual education given to university students should include more information about sexual intercourse.
Learning Objectives: 1. Define the questions about hidden sexuality for university students. 2.Develop to content of sexual education for university students.
