Focusing on the key areas critical to tackling the problem of counterfeit medicines, and other goods harmful to health, this combined plenary and practical workshop session will give a latest briefing on the issue in the region and equip participants with practical tools to counter the counterfeiters. The workshop is an interactive session, focused on discussion and review of real world examples and case study based learning. LEARNING OBJECTIVES: At the end of the session, participants will: 1. Have the latest information on the issue, and discuss strategies and recommendations relevant to the region 2. Learn from best practice examples of successful initiatives implemented to tackle the problem 3. Discuss and develop strategies and action plans to address key steps in combating counterfeit medicines, and other goods harmful to health, through moderated case study learning
