This study shows the body´s perception in pregnant teenagers. Methodology: This is a qualitative study and descriptive. We used a questionnaire with interviews semi-structured and realized with a recorder at the prenatal ´s days. The sample was made up of 12 pregnant teenagers from the 7th month of pregnancy, monitoring of prenatal care at the District Hospital of Messejana Gonzaga Mota (HDGMM), at Fortaleza-CE. The interviews happenned during the period from February to May 2008. Results: Teens with age between 14 to 19 years, with 67.00% (n = 10) married and 33.00% (n = 2) single; at primary school education to complete high school. Through semi-structured guide and records of voice, infers the thematic categories "positive feelings with relation to the pregnancy", "difficulty in accepting the physical changes imposed by pregnancy", "desire to be maternalizada" and "maternity reaffirming the condition of "be a woman". Conclusion: We noticed that the teenagers need professional guidance on prenatal care, due to changes in the physical and psychological changes in relation to your body.
