OBJECTIVES: Since 2005 all boys with the heavy form of hemophilia A inhabitants of the Chelyabinsk till 15 years old are translated on the preventive scheme of carrying out replaceable therapy by a concentrate of the factor VIII. The preventive mode of replaceable therapy at children with hemophilia A is the most reasonable in context of health police.
RESULTS: Introduction of concentrate VIII factor has allowed essentially changing social life of small patients. Average stay in the hospital cot was reduced from 10.2 till 3.2 days. Frequency and weight of hemorrhage displays if before 75% from the general number sick by hemophilia A were treated permanently now their share makes only 50% have decreased. More than 80% of children with hemophilia A visit school, conduct an active way of life, have sports activity, the others -on partially-house training that allows to receive qualitative secondary education. Certainly, direct expenses for a "preventive" mode of introduction concentrate of VIII factor exceed an internal total product of our country approximately in 3 times. But it guarantees an opportunity to not lose the patient before hospitalization and the beginnings of rendering of the specialized help.
METHODS: Consumed volumes, direct expenses for the concentrate, dynamics of the parameters reflecting quality of the patient's life, and also distinction in indirect expenses are analyzed. The period of supervision was 2005-2007. Annually 25 ± 8 children with a hemophilia A received therapy in the specified mode; 30 ED/kg of 1 times per week. As the basic technique the method of cost-benefit is chosen.

CONCLUSIONS: The lead clinic-economic analysis has shown that the preventive scheme of introduction concentrate of VIII factor is favorable from the economic, medical and social points of view.
