81.03 Strengthening of public health association

ANSAP’s 2007-2009 National Board of Directors is working up in build the departmental chapters and working groups with its members.
Their goal is having all active ANSAP members in the different departmental chapters learning the internal rules and regulations and to know how to put them in practice.
The role in promoting public health. This role should be enabling so as to allow the organization to make a contribution to the epidemiological public health profile on a territorial level.
To build capacities for analysis and alternative proposals on the issue of water and sanitation and on other public health problems present in each territory, and it will enable the departmental and regional chapters to position themselves as significant actors.
To  involve public health workers from our departmental chapters through regular monthly meetings, foro with different social actors at local level, scientific days, symposia, panels, etc. in an effort to position ANSAP as an actor capable of presenting proposals on local public health issues via its human resources.
Through its membership, want to be a part of the comprehensive development of the territories by participating and making its contribution. In the territories, where municipalities are the local government and are responsible for local human development, ANSAP should articulate public and private actions
                         Develop a code of ethics to support the activities of the members in the framework of moral values, an annual work plan, and implement monitoring and assessment mechanisms for the standing committees.
                        Provide updated training for the departmental and regional committees Directors is conducted on a volunteer basis by its members.
To strengthen its strategic alliances with the WFPHA the Association
and partnerships with two national and international organizations in order to define joint actions
Strategic partnerships can be a key factor in the comprehensive development of a country.
