The Brazilian Health System (SUS) is now 20 years, with several improvements and the professional qualification improvement challenge in order to have better health care in the country. The National Humanization Policy (NHP)/Política Nacional de Humanização (PNH) is one of the policies developed by SUS to support this process, which has developed a qualification model (training) for health workers. The pedagogic project is based on the interdisciplinary reference (multiprofessional teams), on the proposal for qualification-linked  work/services and health practices humanization. The courses evaluation is carried out with qualitative methods, with the participating collection-observation techniques triangulation. This paper presents the methods and results under two analitical focus: (i) analysis of a course development process and (ii) analysis of the workers’ learning/preparation. In focus (i), axis/cathegories were constructed  in order to evaluate whether the methods used in the course  favour the achievement of the targets. It has been noted that the methods have made possible the problematization of the work process (and job situation), making possible the knowledge, the practices and the professionals’ integration. In focus (ii), the workers’ learning/preparation  indicators were formulated. The skills improvement indicators were underscored as follows: to analyze the situations and work relationships’ multideterminant factors; to  re-orient  the relationships with the patients;  to carry out team work (integration); to networks articulation involving different services and different professionals; and to work out intervention collective projects for the service organization and health care improvement. These qualification courses evaluations show the workers’ preparation significance in order to make changes in health care practices, contributing for the consolidation of the Brazilian SUS.

Assess the model of health workers’ qualification in relation to interdisciplinarity and Humanization, Ministry of Health, Brazil – Pedagogic project based on the interdisciplinary reference and health practices humanization. 2. Describe methods and results (assessment) under two analitical focus: analysis of a course development process and analysis of the workers’ learning/preparation. 3. Construct (i) axis/cathegories in order to evaluate whether the methods used in the course favour the achievement of the targets and (ii) workers’ learning/preparation indicators (skills improvement indicators).
