Trends in Low Birth-Weight in Japan

Japan is the country with highest income in Asian region. Also, its infant mortality rate is the lowest in the world. It may naturally regarded as the well-developed economy has provided Japan with the lowest rate. However, the low-birth weight becomes common in Japan. According to the statistics, the low-birth weighted incidence is growing over years. This point will be explored with breastfeeding patterns in Japan.
