These activities are parts of MDGs that should be achieved by 2015. A case study in City of Surabaya, Indonesia was done by analyzing secondary data provided by East Java Central Board of Statistics and Surabaya City Department of Health. The data were collected from 53 villages in city. For predicting the number of diarrhea, dengue hemorragic fever, pneumonia, malnutrition cases , Poisson regression were used in this study. Four goodness of fit statistics of deviance, scaled deviance , Pearson chi-square, and scaled Pearson chi-squared showed p-values were less than 0.05. The predictors concerning health services, behavior and environment influenced the number of diarrhea and pneumonia cases ( p - values < .05). The predictors concerning health services influenced the number of dengue hemorraghic fever cases (p-values < .05).The predictors concerning health services influenced the number of malnutrition cases (p-value < .05) . Protecting children against diarrhea, dengue hemorrhagic fever, pneumonia, and malnutrion should be done by improving factors of behavior, environment, and health services. Promoting family behavior towards healthy family and exclusive breastfeeding, improving housing condition and providing safe water, antenatal care for preventing low birth weight , monitoring child growth and development and supplementing vitamin A are the strategic programs should be proposed for improving future generation. Keywords: MDGs , Diarrhea, Pneumonia, Malnutrition, Poisson regression

Learning Objectives: Analyzing relationship between the number of diseases that are prevalent among under five children and environment, behavior and health services factors using Poisson regression Assessing which factors may influence the diseases. Based on these factors, a strategig program will be proposed to city health department for achieving MDGs.
